Vicki-second-tesimonialI was a little apprehensive to take this tour, having not touched a paint brush for over 40 years, but it turned out to be so much fun and so inspiring to use a paint brush, paints, dab them on a canvas and come out with something of a painting.

This was the most surprisingly delightful tour I could imagine. After returning home, Adventure Flow emailed all the photos they'd taken of the scenery and of us while we were drawing and painting, making for even more special memories. ... Read More

Pua-Painting-SecondThis is truly a first rate wonderful way to experience and take part in the natural beauty of Alaska...From an artists perspective, Eagle beach is an inspirational place to paint, and the site we painted at gave us many options, the beach, islands, mountains, wildflowers, birds. . .the hard part was to narrow it down to fit on the canvas.

High, high recommendations, I can't say enough good things about this company and Eric, Lindsay and Patrick! ... Read More

The Vision

Your professional artist guide meets you at the dock with a fresh vision for the day. ?As everyone gets to know each other, we learn about your love for art and what might shape your vision. ?Once everyone has arrived, we depart from the crowded hustle of town and embark on our adventure to Eagle Beach.

The Strokes

On the road, your guide will tell you stories of the land, the animals, and the people who have shaped it to build a foundation of knowledge to inspire your creation. ?We will take a short stop?to absorb the powerful coastline. ?Here, your guide will lead you through a calming meditation and small sketchbook exercises to get the creativity flowing and allow you to drop into your surroundings.

The Goal

At our final location, Eagle Beach, we take some time to explore the land and immerse ourselves in the scenery. ?As we hone in our focus and settle down at our easels, your guide will softly educate on painting techniques and inspire your creation with further education about Juneau and stories from the Tlingit and Haida people. ?As time slips by, we can enjoy the serenity of the moment and the power of group observations. ?We will experience the ability to build off each other and feel the energy in the environment flow through us and onto the canvas.

The View

In the end, over refreshments and snacks, we sit back and enjoy our work, taking a moment to compose and get ready for our return to the ship. ?The drive back to town is a great time to rehash the inspiration and creation tools received and to learn about the art community in Juneau today along with the history art has played in the local Tlingit and Haida cultures. ?When we say goodbye with your artwork in hand, we trust your fresh motivation will follow you home.
